ORIGINS

Fénix Foundation was founded on September 16, 1994 by Mrs. Giralda Busto de Imbert, with the help of people familiar with the disease of addiction.

We are an institution whose social purpose is the treatment and prevention of the disease of addiction.

Because we believe that every human being, families and communities have the right to live a healthy and productive life free of addiction.

To be recognized as the first addiction help center in the Dominican Republic, with the aim of helping to return to society intact people with a high sense of fortifications and behavior patterns that allow them to transform their living and social conditions.

To help comprehensively, together with professional therapists of the highest level and the collaboration of families, with a high sense of compassion, dedication and treatment services and innovative programs, to people who have been trapped in addictions.

PHASES

RESIDENTIAL

This is the first phase of the program. It lasts approximately three (3) months. In it the patient is internal, and has an intensive and personalized program.

INTENSIVE AMBULATORY

CASA DE MEDIO CAMINO:
In this phase the patient has already advanced in the objectives of the treatment plan and shows a commitment to his recovery. In this modality, patients live in an apartment. They have a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and continuous monitoring by the therapeutic team.

FAMILY:
During this phase the patient has already consolidated the fundamental bases of their recovery process. It works with the integration of the patient to their family environment. It has a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

PRE POST-CARE

In this phase, the ``Life Plan`` that the patient has made is accompanied by the individual therapist. It has a schedule of 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

POST-CARE

This is the last phase of the program. The patient has already met the basic goals and has acquired the necessary tools to maintain the recovery process. The individual therapist will continue to attend according to their needs and the patient will be responsible for staying in contact with the therapist and participating in the spaces provided by the center to patients in the reintegration phase.
